I use Yahoo Finance quite a bit and last Friday afternoon I could no longer connect. None of the Yahoo sites would connect such as sports, news, etc. Yahoo.com was not loading at all. It is like it didn't exist. A few other web sites have problems loading images too, but everything else seems to work fine. I searched online for a possible cause and tried everything I could to solve the problem. I use Windows 11 and Microsoft Edge. I also tried the Brave browser and got the same results. I went through and cleaned the cache, deleted cookies and all the usual stuff. I rebooted the router and checked for any software updates. Still nothing. I asked a neighbor down the street who uses the same ISP that I use, and they too can't access Yahoo, so it's not just me. My computer is hooked up to the router with an ethernet cable and my other devices connect via Wi-Fi. I tried two cell phones, a tablet and a Chromebook and the issue is the same on all of them. I then turned off Wi-Fi on the phones and connected using cell service only and I could connect just fine. When I reconnected the phones back to my router's Wi-Fi the connection problem came back. I think that tells me that the problem is with the ISP? I've emailed them and have yet to hear back, no surprise. Any other thoughts on the possible cause?
