I previously posted here asking where I should park some money for 6 to 9 months, and put everything into VUSXX following a review of the MM optimizer tool.

However, I'm curious whether the consensus view is that this makes the most sense. Currently there is about $620k in VUSXX, and I'll fold in another $275k in the next six months. Part of this is a family inheritance to be distributed later on (probably 9 months from now, but that's negotiable), and part of it will remain with me. My only purpose is really to grow the money while I have it, and to do so with fairly low risk.
I know that the general ethos here is stuff everything into a Vanguard or Fidelity fund and let it grow slowly over time, you are not smarter than the market. And surely my purposes--low risk growth while I am sitting on the money--seems to argue the same. But I'm curious, is there any argument that some of this should go into a higher dividend fund of some sort? This is very much just a "What would you do in my situation?" question.
