We like USPS Informed Delivery and find that it generally works very well. But last year I began to notice that our monthly statements (usually 3 or 4 statements) from Fidelity come without being captured by Informed Delivery. I began to be more diligent and have confirmed that for the last 3 months the Fidelity statements get delivered without appearing on Informed Delivery system. All our other mail seems to get captured but the Fidelity statements seem to evade the system.
The statements usually arrive about the 7th or 8th of the month. So however they get sorted along the way seems to work just fine. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the glassine used for the envelope window doesn't play well with Informed Delivery. Or maybe Fidelity uses some special USPS delivery method for the SF Bay area?
