My parents are arriving at JFK on a long haul flight from Asia and they have a six hour layover before their connecting flight to our city. It would be nice if they could relax at a lounge instead of at the gate.
According to American Airlines's website on the lounges (https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/clu ... ounges.jsp), the Chelsea lounge is open to anyone flying internationally regardless of cabin class. But it's not clear if it's only available to those departing internationally.
Also, is everything a la cart at the American lounges? I know the Soho and Greenwich lounges are more upscale, but what about Chelsea.
