I submitted my EZ5500 for the year 2023 in April of this year. This is the first time I did it. I see my application in the submissions tab while not in the history which is part of the drop down menu.
When I clicked on the submissions it says, "Filing Received". And when I expand on the "?" adjacent to it, the below definition appears. My guess reading from below is that it was accepted without any errors and it is all good with nothing else for me to do.
Filing StatusWhat it means
Filing ReceivedEFAST2 either found no errors or only identified possible errors in the annual return/report information provided by the filer. If corrections are warranted, they should be made and the corrected filing resubmitted in its entirety as an amended filing.
Am I correct in my assumption? Just concerned as to why it is not showing up in the history tab. have heard enough horror stories that I don't want to mess this up.
