Personal Consumer Issues • Recommendation for Carbon Monoxide Detector....

First, I have been researching this to death and am driving myself nuts trying to pick out a product that is reliable and won't give lots of false alarms.

We have propane gas in our house (Water Heater, Stove, Gas Grill, Furnace).
Plug-In Requirement (AC Outlet for simplicity)
No Wifi or High tech requirement. No Voice.
Ideally, I like the idea of a long-term sealed battery for backup (but not critical) since we have a backup generator.
I also read about a combo sensor offering Explosive Gas and Carbon Monoxide Detector options. This is interesting.
Location: Master Bedroom next to Kitchen or possibly opposite side of Kitchen next to Living Room.

My research has shown that the main brands like Kidde and First Alert have market share but aren't reliable.

I need 2 of these detectors and they don't have to be interconnected.

What do you suggest?
