Buying a house using cash from inherited funds. Multiple companies for example Oakmark, Gabelli, Morgan Stanley. Where to begin to decide which funds to sell? My first thought was withdraw from one to get what I need. But there are a few that have small amounts like $16k, $27k, $50k. I've been wanting to consolidate and not have 10 separate mailings every tax season.
Funds have been in these separate holdings since family member passed. I've not touched them, just left them alone. Now I need money to buy a house. I have reached out to a financial advisor. Not sure if they can help me decide. Need cash in a little over two weeks. Thank you.
