I had a simple IRA thru Vanguard that stopped being funded 5 years ago. I moved my office retirement plan to a 401k plan at that time.
The simple IRA has set dormant in my vanguard account until this year when I moved the money to a rollover IRA with vanguard.
I max out my 401k with profit share but wanted to inquire about the backdoor Roth.
Can I do a back door Roth with money in a rollover IRA? If so, what would be the process of completing the backdoor roth?
Thanks
